Red & Black Pendant Necklace - Petri Effect

Red and Black are a classic together and they combine in this necklace in the Petri Effect - A resin technique that gives stunning 3Dimensional depth to pendants. Inside you'll see swirls and peaks of little mountains of color meeting dappling colors that dance together. 

Donut Pendants come wire wrapped with a 20 gauge gold plated copper wire with a tarnish resistant coating on a 20 inch gold plated metal chain with a lobster claw clasp.

The Petri Effect is Stunning - But rather unpredictable. The pendant you receive may have more of one color visible than the other or may have more area where the two colors mixed. 

This pendant is made from Epoxy Resin. Internal bubbles are a natural occurrence in resin. All resin yellows with time but I do use a super yellow resistant resin to help prevent it for as long as possible. Resin yellows faster with frequent or prolonged exposure to UV Rays, either from the sun or UV lamps. Avoid exposure to high temperatures as resin can soften & misshape. If your pendant gets grimey you can polish it up with a plastic, metal, or glass polish.
